Job Duties:
•Being a visible leader in our logistics network and obtaining bid opportunities that are converted into new customers
•Use business development skills and strong networking skills to identify, obtain and develop and retain relationships with existing customers and prospective clients
• Responsible for finding and targeting potential customers and introducing our 3PL consulting service to these potential customers
• Ability to provide and sell our 3PL logistics solutions services to new accounts and increasing sales revenue to reach monthly and annual sales target
• Responsible for forecasting sales and revenue to achieve KPI
• Manage change needed to achieve strategic and annual goals
• Develop and implement strategy to build profitable revenue and growth year over year and becoming a global top 5 logistics company by year 2020
• Participate in regular sales meetings and work with management to develop, forecasts and goals
• Expected to service the needs of existing customers ensuring all aspects of their needs are being met and develop any opportunities arising.
• Assist with responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP’s), preparing presentations and monitoring sales leads and response
• Any other related duties regarding business development and sales
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience (Freight forwarding, 3PL, Logistics) and outside sales experience with a proven record of success with executive level exposure to customers
• Knowledge in the Asian (Korea, China, Southeast Asia) markets in related business
• Consistent track record of achieving and exceeding sales quota
• Ability to travel
• Excellent written, presentation & communication skills
• Results orientated with the ability to prioritize and deliver key initiatives
• Ability to lead in rapidly changing industries (supply chain & logistics)
• Bilingual a plus (English and Chinese, Spanish or Korean)
• Effective team leadership and management skills
