The company is looking for a Sr. Manager of Products Liability is responsible for ensuring that products are safe and do not cause injury. This person will work very closely with Headquarters based in Korea.
Job Duties
• Strong understanding of PLD (Product Liability Defense) activities: minimizing risk exposure regarding property damage or bodily injury incidents.
• PLP (Product Liability Prevention) Activities: eliminate potential risk or similar incident from new products/ models.
• Observance of Safety related Local Laws and Regulations: CPSC/FCC/FDA/FTC/DOE/UL/CSA/Health Canada, etc.
• Safety related/escalated issue Handling and Management
• Claim Loss simulation & analysis
• Identify Product Liability problem, prevention and execute immediate Improvement
• Participate in the design and setup Product Liability system
• Monitoring social media outlets .i.e. Blogs/ Facebook/Tweeter for feedback on products and Pattern Analysis customer complaints.
• Familiar with Class Action and PL Litigation Defense activities
• Participate in inspection, legal discovery (Documents and Deposition) and trial witness procedures.
• Stay current real time PL(Product Liability) incident information and defense strategy sharing
• Utilize and maintain GPLS (Global Product Liability System) and evidence collection/analysis Call Center Agent Training and Decision Tree Transcript Support
• Process set up Safety and Sensitive Call Handling and Agent Training.

Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s or MS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in Korean language required for communication with Korean headquarters
• Minimum of 12 years' experience in the field of product liability analysis, reporting & risk management.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Quality management systems like ISO 9000
• Strong analytics and statistical background.

The Embedded Software Development Technical Lead Engineer reports to the Software Systems Engineering Manager, and works in a cross-functional development group. • Defines technical direction for the programs embedded software. Provides high level definitions of solutions to address customer requirements. Assists team members in getting clarification of requirements from customer.
