The primary focus of this role is to generate advertising revenue utilizing all of the company’s assets – television, digital and live events – working closely with key clients and agencies to provide an integrated, 360-degree “brand solutions” rather than traditional ad sales based on ratings.
S/he will also work closely with other members of the sales team to strategize on building new revenue streams for the Company.
Duties;
• A client-focused seller who has experience in 360 media packages integrating television, digital media and live events of KCON.
• Develop, close and manage business from new and existing advertiser/agency relationships. S/he must be able to create, develop and execute sales strategies and proposals.
• Grow the sales efforts with targeted clients and identify opportunities to up sell and cross sell. Must be able to understand client needs and create customized advertising solutions integrating all assets of the Company.
• Generate revenue that meets or exceeds the network’s budget.
• Effectively collaborate with multiple departments in order to achieve network objectives and optimize revenue through strategic and creative means.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports (weekly activity reports, weekly account updates, proposal reviews, monthly projections/forecasts, etc.) for senior management.
• Locate non-traditional advertising budgets as well as existing media budgets and sell the company’s assets as the advertiser of choice for a very desirable audience.
• Manage the sales team, including setting goals and evaluating performance, providing guidance throughout sales and client management process.
Requirements:
The Vice President we seek will be an experienced, driven and innovative advertising sales professional. S/he will be the leader of a collaborative sales team helping to grow overall network revenues.
S/he will be an effective sales executive who has experience, existing advertiser/agency relationships and ability to develop new advertiser basey.
