Job Duties:
• Understand the complexity of compliance requirements in the relevant industries, specifically, the food and animal feed industry and logistics industry at large
• Work with product development teams to ensure that the company's products comply with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), local and state agencies and international regulations for areas the products are intended for distribution (Develop and maintain accurate food labeling information for finished products to ensure compliance with FDA and USDA regulations)
• Inform business of all relevant FDA regulations and impending changes, including FDA import/export law requirements, and global events or developments in the food industry that may represent a risk
• Participate in key group food safety and/or quality programs (BRC accreditation, non-GMO accreditation, GFCO, organic etc.)
• Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develop/implement corrective action plans for resolution
• Work with executives, HR to develop an effective compliance training program, including training for new employees as well as ongoing training for all employees and managers
• Maintain current knowledge regarding all applicable new and proposed regulations, legislation, guidelines, and customer practices in the relevant industries

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 4-8 years of experience in food and animal feed industry and/or logistics industry
• CCEP and PCQI certified
• HAACP training certificate
• Knowledge of Food Safety Systems (FSMA, HARPC, BRC, etc.)
• Ability to influence and make complicated subjects clear and presentable
• Bilingual in English/Korean strongly preferred
