Job Duties:
• Responsible for understanding the design and implementation of the internal business controls environment, including documentation of processes, identification of risk areas and control gaps
• Assist process owners in identifying and resolving internal control issues
• Gain and maintain an excellent understanding of key business processes
• Document and report the results of internal control testing to senior management, communicating control gaps and weaknesses to process owners and other business leaders
• Work closely with IT management to evaluate and monitor compliance of key financial systems from a business process/controls framework perspective and to establish and maintain proper change management practices
• Collaborate with the external audit team, operational management, business owners, and internal control team at HQ to coordinate the audits and drive to resolve identified issues
• Participate in leading additional Internal Audit projects as requested
• Timely coordination/execution of the functional ICS testing (control reviews) on key controls
• Engage in other special projects as well as complete any additional duties provided by a supervisor
Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting, internal auditing experience preferred
• Must have excellent knowledge of reviewing internal control design, including in-depth understanding of internal controls systems and K-SOX
• Ability to work both individually and within a team environment, build strong relationships and maintain a close relationship with cross-functional business units, Internal Control teams at HQ, and external consultants
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite
• SAP experience preferred
• CPA or Master degree in accounting related field preferred
• Bilingual strongly preferred (English and Korean)
